Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide leadership and direction to the plant operations team.
  • Leads strategy deployment for the plant initiatives and growth. Leads manufacturing functions to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Accelerating value creation for our customers through responsive end-to-end supply chain performance and prompt resolution to customer inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop strategic plans and budgets to drive continuous and sustainable improvements through the application of disruptive technology, lean six sigma methods, and effective employee engagement programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve associate engagement and morale.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to support Zurn Elkay’s third-party sales rep network and meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to maintain product quality standards.
  • Develop and manage the plant budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with the following departments: finance, quality, customer care, engineering, information technology, purchasing and production control and planning.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a plant management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teams.
  • Experience and certification with Lean Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with fiberglass molding manufacturing is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading in a union environment a plus
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in operational excellence, lean implementation, and financial accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP and CRM applications, with an emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
