WesTrac is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Team Leader to join our General Construction Workshop in Tomago. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong a technical background and a passion for driving team performance in a dynamic workshop environment. In this role, you will lead a team of technicians working on a diverse range of quarry and civil equipment—including excavators, graders, skid-steers, and loaders. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As a Team Lead with WesTrac you will be responsible for; Leading, supporting and helping to coordinate a team of workshop technicians to deliver outstanding results. Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Fostering a clean, safe, and compliant work environment. Driving team performance by promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with company policies, quality assurance standards, and legal requirements. Supporting fault diagnosis and assisting with repairs. Roster and Remuneration Rotating roster of 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights (Mon-Fri) Day Shift: 5:30AM - 4:00PM Night Shift: 3:00PM to 1:30AM Annual earnings from $146,700+ | Hourly rates from $56+  | Overtime rates from $84+ *above rates are a guide, each candidate will be assessed on skills and experience  Skills & Experience  Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology OR Cert III Mobile Plant qualification (Australian Recognised) Leadership experience with the ability to build a cohesive team with a common goal  Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and organise teams  Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment (desired)  Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements  Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence   Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practice  Solutions focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements   Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills  Why WesTrac At WesTrac, we’re made for more.
