JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of machinery and equipment.
The successful applicant will be primarily operating a Volvo 220 (25t 360 Excavator) on back-filling duties for large diameter pipeline construction on a large water infrastructure scheme.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of machinery
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control in production processes
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within an industrial setting is advantageous
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
  Pay: £40,000.00-£47,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Heavy plant: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card (required)
• CPCS Lifting operations (preferred)
• EUSR CAT 1 & 2 (preferred)

• Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns

• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and resolve any issues promptly
