The Dudman Group of Companies have a vacancy for a Plant Operator based at our Shoreham site in West Sussex.
Based primarily in West Sussex, the Group is a substantial business producing primary sand and gravel, crushed rock sub-bases and Armour Rock from both land-based and marine sources together with being producers of Readymixed Concrete. With extensive reserves, our market position is also supported further by a number of strategic wharves and comprehensive Recycling operations in the south ensuring a consistent quality supply to all major client contracts as well as our strong and highly valued regular customers.

Key responsibilities:
· Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
· Work within accordance of company systems regarding quality and health and safety
· Loading plant, vehicles and taking away from stockpiles in a safe manner in accordance with existing practices
· Keep machine clean, tidy and within industry standards and legislation.
Personal attributes:
· CSCS, NPORS or in-house training on plant and equipment desirable
· Experience working in a busy aggregate yard, quarry or transfer station preferred
· An excellent team player who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a positive attitude
· Good demonstrable record of timekeeping

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 0700 - 1730 with Saturday Morning shifts on a rota basis

Pay: £32,500.00-£34,500.00 per year
