Responsibilities
  • Operate a wide range of plant and transport equipment including excavators, graders, loaders, trailers (over 10T), crane trucks and more.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Navigate independently across the Tweed Shire using sound local road knowledge and work unsupervised when required.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and work collaboratively with other teams and work gangs.
  • Carry out additional duties as needed, including non-driving tasks when plant is idle or under repair.
