PLANT OPERATOR:
For the Operating Support Centre (remote management centre for all production plants worldwide) of the SOL Group, located in San Martino Buon Albergo (VR), we are looking for a
Specialised plant operator.
The figure, in addition to being responsible for plant control via the room monitor, will supervise production processes and manage certain operational interventions according to the following activities:
assisting in plant performance improvement activities;
management and coordination of plant start-ups;
evaluation with respect to technical and economic choices for replacing machinery and improving plant performance;
reading P&IDs and technical drawings relating to production plants;
performs manoeuvres on individual machines/plant sections by means of dedicated PLC software both locally and remotely performs analysis of liquid gases in tanker trucks entering/leaving the plant;
managing different additives and chemicals according to the specific production process;
operation of manual valves, connection and disconnection of hoses and verification of field instrumentation;
loading of tanker trucks through automatic control systems;
assistance with maintenance activities on plant equipment and machines used in production processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in the chemical or engineering sector is preferable;
Good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken;
Willingness to work three shifts on a continuous cycle, also at night, with possible availability;
Willingness to undertake training/updating courses for the acquisition of the qualifications and certifications required for related activities and safety/emergency management;
Willingness to undertake international work assignments (Europe and outside Europe) is also required.
