JOB SUMMARY

As the Glentham Plant Operator you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance for our biomethane plant in Lincolnshire. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will have safety, operations and engineering responsibility for the day to day activites which you carry out. As we expand and construct more sites you may occasionally be required to provide operational cover to other sites (travel and expenses paid).
The successful candidate will also be capable of self-starting, using their initiative and being hands on.

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of VIDA bioenergy Glentham biomethane site
• Safely run the site
• Move feedstock and digestate using telehandlers
• Load feedstock into the process in accordance with he recipe, keep accurate records of the quantities of each feedstock loaded
• Keep the site clean and tidy
• Operate the site weighbridge as required
• Carry out routine sampling and laboratory testing
• Carry out daily plant checks, complete minor repairs, oiling and greasing
• Assist with larger maintenance activities
• Be on call and respond to out of hours shutdowns on a rota
• Assisting with the planning and preparation for major overhauls and maintenance events
