Why We Need You: Supervise, train and motivate employees and work teams to meet quality standards, production goals, efficiencies and customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.  A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:  * Oversee the production process looking for ways to improve efficiencies, meeting all production quotas and deadlines * Assign work, analyze productivity, workflow, methods and procedures, making recommendations to management as appropriate * Enforce all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures * Completes production labor schedule by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules to minimize OT; resolving problems; reporting results of the shift production daily  * Maintains working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement where applicable * Responsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this position What You Must Know | Education and Experience:  * 4 year degree or equivalent work experience in a high speed manufacturing environment, preferably consumer packaged goods * Minimum 2 - 4 years experience supervisory experience in a fast paced consumer packaged goods environment * Better Process School (will provide) * Computer skills  * Self-motivation and safety awareness.  What You Need to Be Good At | Competencies and Skills: * Excellent communication and facilitation skills * Ability to communicate with all levels of management and subordinates using both verbal and written formats * Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization * Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to work a flexible schedule * Read written work orders, manuals, measurement instruments and company-posted work and safety policies, procedures and programs Your Working Relationships | Leadership: * Requires employee to directly supervise others * Fosters collaboration and teamwork.   * Gains support and commitment from within departments as well as with other divisions within the organization  Your Work Environment | Working Conditions and Safety Considerations: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
