We, the Dam and Hydro team, are looking for a motivated Plant Support Worker to join our group! In this role, you will maintain and repair the buildings, facilities and grounds across our six hydroelectric dams. You will work with a skilled team and receive valuable training through on-the-job experiences. Make minor plumbing repairs, maintains water lines and plumbing fixtures, performs light carpentry work, and coating applications. - Perform facility and grounds maintenance through weed eating, mowing, shredding, and tree trimming. - Perform maintenance and repairs using small power equipment (such as saws, nail guns, compressors, weed eaters, leaf blowers, etc.) and hand tools (such as hammers, shovels, rakes, paint brushes, etc.). Perform maintenance and repair on small power and lawn equipment. - Identify repair needs and calls for assistance from skilled craft personnel on complex or non-routine maintenance work. - Perform work by traveling independently or with a small crew to various locations within LCRA’s service area as scheduled. - Will assist in flood operations when needed.
