PLANT TECHNICIAN/CDL CLASS A DRIVER

FV Recycling, LLC is looking for a plant technician/Class A CDL driver at its Alexandria, LA plant. This person must be a team player that is not afraid to work in a fast-paced environment. You will primarily operate the roll off truck, pulling weekly roll-off containers at customer locations and delivering to the plant. Occasional assistance with tractor/trailer equipment as needed. Any other responsibilities needed by the plant manager.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up roll-off containers from customer locations
• Occasional assistance with various tractor/trailer equipment when needed
• Operate forklift and skid steer when needed
• Any other responsibilities when assigned.

Requirements:

• Class A CDL required
• Forklift and skid steer experience preferred (training and certification available through FV Recycling)
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and reach for long periods. Lift 50 lbs. multiple times per day, enter and exit equipment safely, work in an open-air environment, and can operate equipment for extended periods
• A basic understanding of mechanical aptitude is preferred
• Ability to assist the Supervisor with all preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires problem-solving and decision making
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Work 40 hours per week
• Occasional Saturdays possible
