Description Job Summary Mackenthun’s Plant Care Specialists ensure plants remain healthy, vibrant, and well-maintained to support Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience. They water, prune, and monitor plants. Key Responsibilities Plant Care & Maintenance: Water, prune, fertilize, and rotate plants to ensure proper growth and presentation. Monitor plants for signs of pests, disease, or poor health and take corrective action. Maintain appropriate lighting, humidity, and temperature conditions for various plant types. Ensure displays remain fresh, attractive, and aligned with department standards. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of plants and indoor/outdoor plant care is preferred. Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Frequent standing, bending, and walking. Regular lifting of up to 40 lbs. Exposure to water, soil, cleaning supplies, and varying temperatures. Use of basic tools such as scissors, pruning shears, and watering equipment.
