Job Details Job Location: NEW CASTLE, PA 16101 Ezeflow USA, Inc. – Flowline Division is seeking a skilled and motivated Plasma Operator to join our manufacturing team in New Castle, PA. As a Plasma Operator, you will play a key role in our production process by operating plasma cutting machinery to accurately trim metal objects to customer specific specifications. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent measuring skills, previous manufacturing, overhead crane, and forklift experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to: Ability to read purchase orders for the purpose of pulling materials from the staging area Positions work piece onto table or into fixture with crane Ability to determine the correct sequence of cut Selects carbon or metal-coated carbon electrode, gas nozzle, electric current, and gas pressure according to thickness and type of metal, data on charts, or record of previous runs Inserts electrode and gas nozzle into holder and connects hose from holder to compressed gas supply Connects cables from power source to electrode and work piece or fixture, to obtain desired polarity Turns knobs to select amperage Turns lever to adjust jet of gas to blow away molten metal Strikes arc and guides electrode along lines to cut (melt) through metal Cuts off chips or sprues and burns out cracks and holes Grinds (deburrs) and stamps plate Operates a forklift Qualifications Work Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shift Monday – Thursday Training may occur on other shifts Overtime as needed when production needs dictate overtime is required to fulfill customer delivery expectations Benefits: Paid time off – 16 hours after 60 days, annual vacation accrual Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after 60 days Short Term Disability benefit and 401k after 1 year Qualifications: Experience preferred Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Basic computer skills Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions Manufacturing experience preferred Fork-lift experience preferred Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
