Description Southwest Electric Co. Is looking for a 3rd Shift Plasma Operator for Oklahoma City, OK. 3rd Shift has a 10% shift Differential Sunday -Thursday 9pm- 5:30 am. Plasma Technician Summary: Maintain locate and load all associated raw materials for the plasma table. Ability to understand and operate plasma cutting table. Utilizing, nesting software to cut material per manufacturing specifications. Verify accuracy and quality of cut material. Kit all associated material with the proper RO and stage in the appropriate areas. Maintain the plasma table and associated tools and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read and comprehend blueprints, manufacturing instructions and Bill of Materials (BOM) Must be able to load raw material per manufacturing instructions and operate plasma table. Follow production schedule nest parts according to the bill of material (BOM). Verify all correct material per bill of materials (BOM). Ability to follow all safety procedures while operating plasma table. Ability to understand and operate nesting software and associated controls. Must be able to safely operate various hand & power tools Read and understand tape measures variances up to 1/16 and the ability to convert to decimals .0625 Safely operate crane and pallet jack/forklift. Requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical. Must be able to read a tape measure. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED Five plus years related experience and or training. Must have experience in a Manufacturing setting. Two Plus Years related experience or training. Military experience a plus.
