JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Plasterer will be responsible for both new installations and repairs, contributing to the overall quality of our construction projects.
Boarding will also be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks.
• Knowledge of bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, or roofing is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to deliver high-quality finishes.
• Excellent physical stamina and strength for lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.

• Mix plaster according to specifications for optimal consistency and application.
• Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools, ensuring an even coat.
• Repair damaged plasterwork, including filling cracks and holes.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as bricklayers, carpenters, and roofers to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly storing tools and materials.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times while on site.
