Description

Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking full-time Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join their well-established and expanding surgical oncology program in Portland, Oregon. This represents a unique opportunity to join one other experienced plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon as a true partner dedicated to complex oncologic reconstruction. Qualified candidates will be fellowship trained and/or have a strong background in breast reconstruction, oncoplastic reconstruction and general reconstructive microsurgery. The practice is supported by advanced practice providers and nursing, and benefits from a built-in referral base of an extensive network of 100+ primary and secondary clinics and 8 hospitals in Oregon. This position offers immediate access to a high surgical volume, supported by service-specific OR access.   • Full-time, 1.0 FTE
  • Board-certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery required
  • Breast reconstruction, oncoplastic reconstruction, and general reconstructive microsurgery required (co-surgeon model for microsurgery)
  • Shared practice call—no facial or hand trauma

  • Providence Cancer Institute offers an attractive compensation package, including a guaranteed base salary for the first 2-years of employment, an annual value-based incentive, and wRVU incentive plan
  • $30,000 starting bonus and up to $15,000 for relocation assistance
  • $6,000 annually in Continuing Medical Education (CME) funds and 80-hours of CME time as well as reimbursement for licensure and certification(s)
  • In addition, Providence provides a Comprehensive Employed Provider Benefits Package, including Paid Time Off, Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Disability and Malpractice Insurance
