We are currently seeking a skilled and imaginative 1st Shift Fabrications Technician, Manual Plastic Maker to join our workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for craftsmanship—whether your background is in woodworking, welding, or another hands-on trade, we’d love to see how your skills can translate to creating high-quality plastic components Responsibilities · Interpret blueprints, sketches, or client concepts to build custom plastic assemblies and equipment. · Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP) in relation to operations/organization of work flow. · Use hand tools and traditional woodworking and welding techniques to manufacture plastic devices. · Ensure a high standard of craftsmanship, finishing, and durability in all projects. · Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times. · Use various hand and power tools and equipment, such as band saws, drill press, pipe benders, etc. Qualifications · HS Diploma or GED equivalent, at 18 years of age. · Due to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required. · Able to work 6:00am - 2:30pm. · Strong mechanical aptitude. · Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings and specifications, bill of materials and job order requirements · Experience using various hand and power tools and equipment, such as band saws, drill press, etc. · Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP) in relation to operations/organization of work flow. · Attention to detail. · Finished carpentry, welding or similar experience is helpful
