Location: Meridian, Idaho (On-site, Non-Remote) Starting Wage Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, BOE Available Shifts Monday-Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pm Tuesday-Friday: 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday: 3:00pm - 11:30pm (shift differential) JOB SUMMARY JST Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Fabricator to join our team. This role provides fabrication, installation, onsite modification, and customer support for precision cleaning and wet processing tools worldwide. At our Meridian facility, you'll also assist with quality assurance and testing of manufactured systems prior to shipment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications. Fabricate, weld, and finish plastics to JST quality standards. Safely and efficiently use woodworking tools, power hand tools, and plastic welding equipment. Accurately use measuring instruments and follow quality procedures. Track job labor and materials using shop floor control software. Follow company procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Contribute to shop cleanliness and equipment stewardship. Collaborate with team members to resolve design and fabrication challenges. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, and using hand/power tools. Complete miscellaneous tasks in support of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments. JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role. Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and specifications. Experience with plastic welding. Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience. Skilled in safe use of hand and power tools. Able to produce accurate, high-quality parts on schedule. Strong teamwork, safety, and equipment maintenance skills. TRANSFERRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Plastic welding experience (preferred, not required) Finishing and trim carpentry skills Precision welding experience (entry-level acceptable) Pipefitting or tubing assembly (plastic tubing preferred, metal tubing acceptable) Cabinet making or millwork Fixture and furniture assembly Boatbuilding or RV interior finishing Automotive body repair and refinishing WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS Safely lift and carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs. Walk, stand, and work on your feet for the duration of the shift. Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grasp, and use hand/power tools.
