OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years experience as an Injection Mold Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with plastics blow molding processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using logic controllers for machine operation is desirable.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices will be beneficial for continuous improvement initiatives.

    Pay: $25.00-$27.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Manage and optimize production activities to meet daily and weekly production goals.
  • Mold Changes: Supervise and assist with mold changes, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support production staff to maintain a productive and motivated workforce.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that products meet required quality standards and troubleshoot defects or process issues.
  • Machine Maintenance Coordination: Work with maintenance teams to ensure machines and tools are in optimal working condition.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Inventory & Material Management: Ensure the right materials are available for production and coordinate with warehouse staff.
