Description AO Multispecialty Clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team in Augusta, Georgia. This provider will work closely with a board-certified plastic surgeon in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supporting both reconstructive and cosmetic patients. The role includes clinic responsibilities, surgical assisting, and in-office procedures within scope of practice. Candidates with prior plastic surgery, surgical subspecialty, dermatology, or aesthetic experience are strongly preferred. Requirements Key Responsibilities · Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical examination, and surgical assessments · Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising surgeon · Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-up visits · Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room · Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice (e.g., suturing, wound care, minor procedures, injectables if qualified) · Educate patients regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and post-treatment care · Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR · Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards · Support patient satisfaction and practice growth initiatives Experience & Qualifications · Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program · Active and unrestricted Georgia license (or eligibility) · National board certification required · Experience in plastic surgery, surgical subspecialty, dermatology, or aesthetics strongly preferred · Surgical assisting experience preferred · Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
