Depending on your experience, pay rate for this position starts at $21.00 This is a 2nd shift position with hours being 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Extrusion operator – Cutoff operations duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Use saw to cut extruded product, serialize the product, and inspect the product for defects · Document lot-controlled inspection of rods, slab, discs and serialization sheets · Record product information and data onto the daily cutoff sheets · Box/skid product that is cut · Report any problems/defects/production issues to the shift supervisor · Requisition resin for use on shop orders · Assure proper resin is being loaded per predetermined requirements as stated on shop orders · Clean, fill and maintain resin hoppers through the duration of the shop order · Properly identify and return unused resin to warehouse · Adherence to all plant safety regulations · Report “near misses” and report potential safety hazards · Maintain housekeeping in extrusion areas Requirements Cut-off operator requirements: Mechanical Ability· Proper use of hand and power tools· Basic awareness of electric and the risks attached· Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs· High School Diploma or equivalent· Valid Driver’s License Basic math and computer skills· Good communication skills Job Type: Full-time
