Description Description Basic level of injection molding machine operation following demonstrated directions. Operates one or more machines under prescribed conditions after others complete set-up. Work includes cycling the machine, removing scrap material from the parts, checking molded parts by gaging and visual inspection, as prescribed. Refers all deficiencies to supervisors or leads. · Performs basic mold press operations. · Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. · Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. · Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: · High school diploma or GED. · Ability to followed demonstrated directions. · Good communication of the English language, both written and spoken. · Ability to read written instructions, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: · Should be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. · Stand/Walk for full shift, 8-12 hours. · Bend/Twist. · Use of both hands.
