As both a designer and a manufacturer, Transvac have full control over process and mechanical design, supply of raw materials, manufacturing, scheduling, and testing. Transvac are certified to BS EN ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2 and maintain a certified PED/PE(S)R quality system, the quality of the final product is assured.
Our team requires a Plater/Fabricator to carry out a variety of key tasks.
Being multi-skilled, he/she will have experience with pipe/plate fit-ups and a variety of fabrication processes.

Experience:

• Fabrication: 5 years (required

• Experience with plate/pipe fit-ups and a variety of fabrication processes.
• Prepping, fabricating and fitting components in accordance with engineering drawings and weld procedure specifications.
• Supplying welders with tacked-up components ready for welding.
• Setup welding equipment and tack weld parts using TIG/MMA/MIG/MAG as required.
• Produce goods of the highest standards of quality and accuracy to the required dimensions, within the timescales specified.
• Experience of fabricating pipe work and vessels for the process, Petro-chemical and offshore industries in accordance with International standards.
• Experience of fabricating structural steelwork such as channel and beam frames and pipe supports.
• Experience working with various grades of material i.e. Stainless steel, Low Temp. Carbon steel and Duplex is essential.
• Experience following QA documents i.e. WPS’s, Weld Maps, Works Instructions, ITP’s.
• To be able to read, understand, and follow all Safety, Quality, and Standard Operating Procedures including Engineering/Fabrication Drawings.
• Other reasonable tasks, at the request of management, commensurate with pay.
  The working hours are 06:55 – 15:25 Monday to Thursday and 06:55 – 12:55 on Fridays.

If overtime is required, it is paid at the following rates:

• Hourly Rate + 1/2 for Monday - Saturday
• Hourly Rate x 2 for Sunday
