Job Description Navantia UK is recruiting multiple Platers to join its growing team in Methil. Following the recent acquisition of Harland & Wolff’s facilities, Navantia UK is strengthening Britain’s defence, maritime, and clean energy industrial capabilities. The Role As a Plater, you will play a key role in the fabrication of structural steelwork, contributing to high-quality outputs in a safe, controlled, and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and weld structural steelwork in line with drawings and specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings (advantageous) Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality requirements Meet or exceed production targets and timings Adhere to all company procedures, rules, and Health & Safety standards Work effectively as part of a team to deliver work on time and to customer expectations Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement Knowledge, Skills & Experience Previous welding experience is an advantage Ability to work effectively using your own initiative Good communication skills at all levels Strong awareness and understanding of Health & Safety legislation A positive, reliable, and team-oriented approach Why Join Navantia UK?
