SUMMARY Plater needed for 3pm-11pm shift with $1.10/hr shift differential. Full-time position with weekend work and possible overtime. Fork truck and crane experience needed. The right candidate will * Hazard Recognition – knows / understands hazards of the job assignments before starting a job * Communication - effectively communicate with other employees * Advanced Measuring – use various complex measuring devices and gages as required * Blueprint reading - interprets drawings * Cranes – lifts equipment safely, knows where disconnect switches are, performs daily crane inspections, loads and unloads trucks, stages equipment * Basic computer skills * Forklift – drive safely, load and unload, refuel, perform daily forklift inspections * Work from bills of material, purchasing lists, shipping documents and parts/ shop supplies * Understands basic electroplating principles equipment and chemical hazards What we offer * Competitive compensation * Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance * Paid Vacation * Paid holiday time * 401k with company match What we do SMS group is the leading partner in the world of metals. Responsibilities

The Plater is responsible for performing electroplating tasks while adhering to safety protocols and chemical hazard guidelines. Duties include operating cranes and forklifts to move equipment and interpreting blueprints and bills of material.
