We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join Anaplan’s Environment Tooling team in London. Our team is responsible for building and operating platform infrastructure that enable engineers to deliver services with speed, safety, and reliability.
You will be responsible for ephemeral environment management, service deployment, secrets and configuration management. We write Kubernetes Operators in Go, manage service deployments with Argo CD and Harness, and oversee secrets management using Vault.
This is a hybrid role requiring at least two days a week in our London office.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Experience with Kubernetes in a production or pre-production environment.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, ideally Terraform.
  • Public cloud experience with either AWS or GCP.
  • Strong interest in software engineering, with some experience in Go or another language.
  • A focus on quality through testing and documentation.

    Bonus Points for…

  • Experience writing or maintaining Kubernetes Operators.

  • Scripting or development experience in Go, Python, or similar.
  • Exposure to continuous deployment tooling such as ArgoCD or Harness.
  • Knowledge of observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki.
  • Experience with Vault or other secrets management technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and collaborative ways of working.
