Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote. Acting with Integrity Communicating Effectively Pursuing Self-Development Serving Customers Supporting Change Supporting Organizational Goals Working with Diverse Populations What does it take to be successful in this role? • Advanced experience with software configuration and modern programming languages • Salesforce CRM Analytics - experience with security and complex queries using SAQL, SOQL and bindings • Tableau - Tableau Cloud, experience with LOD calculations, dynamic zone visibility, row level security • Working knowledge of data models and database structure • Snowflake a big plus • Understanding of the development release cycle on the Salesforce Platform • Knowledge of continuous integration/development tools (preferred) • Technical writing skills for documenting design of complex solutions • Ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines • Ability to troubleshoot challenging problems across the platform & its HW/SW components • Proven experience in Scrum and DevOps methodologies • Ability to guide and mentor junior team members • Lead medium projects Education & Experience Required Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems or other related experience Four or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Principal Duties & Responsibilities • Provides support on architectural design and maintenance of the platform’s (COTS, SaaS, ERP) environment with distributed components • Ensures compliance with the organization's requirements through the implementation of, auditing of, and adherence to policies, procedures, and security standards • Plans software upgrades, patching, & plugin installations in accordance with established policies and procedures • Monitors performance, resolves problems, & manages component capacity issues • Design, test, develop, configure, & maintain integrations to platform’s applications • Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security • Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, & debugging • Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses & technical proposals • Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs • Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, maintain the platform applications to meet company requirements • Performs other duties as required *Candidates for this role must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
