Responsibilities:

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to help us build and support the core infrastructure that powers our Navy logistics and asset visibility platform. You’ll help design, deploy, and maintain a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environment that runs containerized apps across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You’ll work closely with developers, DevSecOps engineers, and Navy users to ensure stability, security, and speed.
This is a remote-first role with limited travel. Prior Navy or DoD software delivery experience is a huge plus.

• Design, deploy, and manage the infrastructure behind our apps—across AWS GovCloud, edge, and Navy networks.
• Automate deployments and environment provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Stand up and secure Kubernetes clusters (Rancher, Helm) and support containerized apps in production.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK.
• Work across environments and stacks to ensure apps are secure, scalable, and resilient.
• Help write and maintain scripts or lightweight apps to support system automation and integration.
• Support ATO and cybersecurity requirements, including ICAM integration and container-level hardening.
• Contribute to a team that ships secure, production-grade capabilities to the mission at speed.
