Platform Engineer | Netherlands

I'm working with a logistics-tech platform moving high-volume parcels for retailers here, there and everywhere, through dozens of carrier integrations, across multiple markets. Volume that spikes hard around peak shopping periods and isn't allowed to fall over when it does. None of it looks complicated from the outside. Under the hood, it very much is. ⚙️

They're hiring a Platform Engineer to help make sure it doesn't. 🫵

And no, this isn't a Senior Engineer role wearing a bigger badge, and it isn't a management track hiding behind an IC job spec. This is a genuine individual-contributor seat with genuine scope.

You'll be responsible for owning the foundation the platform sits on, the feature teams building the actual product and everything in between.

Joining an established and growing team, you'll also be instrumental in leading technical delivery across teams, shaping the architecture and turning platform components into things developers actually choose to use. 🤝

The philosophy is: you build it, you run it. Feature teams own what they ship. 💪

The stack :

• AWS ☁️
• Kubernetes
• Terraform infrastructure-as-code is the floor.
• GitLab pipelines
• ArgoCD
• Solid networking and security fundamentals 🔐
• Observability and production reliability

But nobody's hiring off a keyword match.
