  We’re seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data platforms that drive our organisation’s analytics, GenAI and digital transformation. Based in Brisbane or Melbourne, this is your opportunity to work on next-generation cloud-based data solutions, collaborate with a team of enthusiastic engineers, and contribute directly to our forward-thinking data strategy.

• Contribute to the delivery of platform solutions aligned to our strategic architecture vision
• Engineer platforms and services for resiliency, scalability and cost optimisation
• Identify and drive automation opportunities to improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners and Delivery Managers using Agile methods
• Share knowledge, mentor peer & junior Platform Engineers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience in large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Cloud services (AWS preferred – SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift (Helm or Kustomize)
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet)
• Strong background in Terraform and cloud orchestration
• Familiarity with DataBricks and machine learning lifecycle management (advantageous)
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, security, and governance for cloud deployments
• AWS certifications (Associate or Professional) highly desirable
