We’re now looking for a Platform Engineer with strong experience in Linux, container-based infrastructure and automated platform operations. In this role, you’ll help build and maintain the foundational platforms that enable Data Engineers, Data Scientists and developers to work faster, safer and smarter. You’ll be working in a Swedish-speaking environment, so clear communication in both Swedish and English is important. What you’ll do – Build, review and maintain secure container images for internal platforms – Configure, operate and troubleshoot Linux/Unix-based systems – Manage users, roles, permissions and storage across platform environments – Set up and maintain virtual networks and infrastructure components – Automate workflows and operational processes using scripting (Python, Bash or similar) – Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable and accessible platforms – Contribute to architecture, design and continuous improvement of platform solutions end-to-end What you bring – Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and system administration – Solid understanding of container technologies such as Docker and OCI-based workflows – Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or similar) – Familiarity with system architecture, networking concepts and infrastructure fundamentals – Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or equivalent) for automation – Understanding of cloud native principles (Kubernetes/OpenShift experience is a plus) – Troubleshooting mindset and ability to analyse complex systems – Ability to communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, spoken and written Nice-to-have – Experience in security-sensitive or high-reliability environments – Exposure to virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) – Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Who you are – You take ownership, solve problems methodically and enjoy diving deep into technical details – You thrive in environments where reliability, performance and security matter – You communicate clearly, collaborate well and enjoy supporting engineers across data and AI teams – You’re curious, analytical and proactive — always looking for smarter, cleaner ways to build and operate platforms Why Yora Yora is a modern tech hub built on trust, collaboration and freedom.
