Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re currently looking for a Platform Support Engineer to join our Technology Team based in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in application support and an eagerness to build deeper technical knowledge. Experience with complex business systems, and proven experience in troubleshooting and technical support is highly regarded.
We are looking for an applicant that can work effectively in a team environment and has a true passion for customer success and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Be responsible for IT Infrastructure Services including escalating to a 3rd party where necessary.
  • Help with planning and delivery of IT Infrastructure and Desktop Operation projects.
  • Work either individually or part of a team to maintain, monitor & support on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • Be a point of escalation for Level 1 and Level 2 Support.
  • Following policies and procedures, as well as recommending improvements.
  • Participate in planning efforts, recommending solutions.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as agreed.

You are technically minded, with strong problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity to understand how systems work. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and your communication is always clear, calm, and empathetic, even under pressure. You are confident using and navigating software platforms, and quick to learn new tools. You have strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on tasks and are comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.   • 2-3 years experience in an IT support role
  • Technical experience and/or knowledge of:
  • Azure, Active Directory and O365
  • Citrix & WVD
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • VPN solutions
  • Network technologies and administration
