The intensity of growth and investment in City of Parramatta means that Council, their partners, and community have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the City’s future and ensure it is culturally, socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable.  About the role  This role is responsible for leading the Platform Support Specialist to ensure the secure, stable, and innovative operations of Councils Infrastructure and Cloud platforms.  The team will take a strong Customer Service orientated approach to its operations and support of the business. This position spans multiple platforms and projects, providing technical governance including alignment to strategy and business outcomes.  On a daily basis you will: * Lead the design and delivery of enterprise technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers.  * Drive strong stakeholder engagement and customer-focused service across ICT and Council.  * Manage and maintain technical platforms to ensure security, compliance, and fitness-for-purpose.  * Oversee governance and compliance with ITIL, change management, and cyber security standards (including Cyber 8).  * Lead and develop the team while supporting projects, continuous improvement, automation, and issue resolution.   About You  The successful candidate should have 6+ years’ relevant IT industry experience with at least 3 years in a highly technical role leading a team. You will also bring:  * Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, or accepted experience combined with relevant certifications. * Relevant vendor qualifications associated with technical platforms. * ITILv4 or later certification and knowledge. * 5+ years’ experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment incorporating * Strong Cyber Security awareness and understanding.   What’s on offer We are offering a full-time term contract for up to 6 months, with an attractive remuneration from $ 146,512.94 plus 12% superannuation.
