Travel: No Job Title: SAP ABAP – Platinum Consultant Experience: 10–15 Years Location: Anywhere in India Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Platinum Consultant with 10 to 15 years of extensive expertise in SAP technical development. This role requires deep proficiency in advanced ABAP programming, solution architecture, and technical leadership across complex SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, offering scalable, high-performance solutions that align with business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP ABAP development across multiple SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, HR, PP, PM). • Architect and develop complex custom objects using classical and modern ABAP (OO ABAP, ABAP on HANA). • Provide expertise in performance tuning, code optimization, and troubleshooting of existing applications. • Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs. • Work with modern SAP technologies including: o ABAP CDS Views, AMDP o OData Services / REST APIs o Adobe Forms / SmartForms / SAPscript o ALE/IDoc, BAPI, RFC, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements o Fiori/UI5 integration (basic exposure or collaboration) • Drive code reviews, enforce development best practices, and ensure compliance with SAP standards. • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical governance and reusability frameworks. • Support migration and upgrade projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA). Required Skills & Experience: • 10–15 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. • Deep expertise in classical ABAP and advanced concepts like ABAP on HANA. • Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques and debugging skills. • Experience working across multiple SAP modules and functional areas. • Solid understanding of integration techniques (IDoc, BAPI, REST, etc.). • Experience in S/4HANA environment preferred. • Strong communication and client-facing skills. Preferred Qualifications: • SAP ABAP certification(s). • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP BTP is a plus. • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins). • Knowledge of SAP Business Workflow is an added advantage.
