Duties
- Plan and supervise play activities for children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Organise and lead group games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities
- Ensure all children are engaged and following the rules of play
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to children when needed
- Maintain a clean and organised play area
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a play or educational setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential
- Understanding of child development / playwork principles
- First aid training, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene training will be paid for by the club.
Requirement to work towards a Playwork Qualification
All candidates will be subject to a full enhanced DBS check
