ABOUT MOSAIC PLAYGROUPS

Mosaic Playgroups offers a unique, “free and easy” play experience for children aged 6 months to 3 years. We are a welcoming “village” that provides a soft landing and a strong sense of community. Our sessions are unstructured, joyful, and socially interactive, creating the perfect first introduction to our “play-inspired learning” philosophy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about creating magical first learning experiences? We are looking for a nurturing and creative Playgroup Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be more than a teacher; you will be a community-builder, a play facilitator, and a trusted partner for parents during their child’s earliest years. You will have the opportunity to design and lead engaging play sessions in our beautiful indoor and expansive outdoor campus at The Yards.

• PROGRAM & CURRICULUM:Design, implement, and evaluate a dynamic, play-inspired, and developmentally appropriate program for children aged 6 months to 3 years.Prepare and review lesson plans and parent handouts, ensuring they align with Mosaic’s high-quality standards.Plan and structure interactive playspaces in both our indoor and outdoor environments, using a variety of materials to facilitate discovery.
• PARENT & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:Build and maintain healthy, positive, and frequent relationships with parents.Engage our community by creating daily story updates and regular posts for our Instagram account.
• TEAM COLLABORATION & MENTORSHIP:Work closely with the Playgroup team to provide enriching and memorable classes.Mentor and support other educators through observation, guided discussions, and sharing best practices.
