You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications through robust test automation frameworks, integration into CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with development teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust Playwright-based UI automation frameworks. Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test plans and cases. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Develop and maintain test data and test environments. Perform root cause analysis and debugging of failed tests. Advocate for testability and quality across the software development lifecycle. Continuously improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and reporting. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python). Proficiency in writing test cases using BDD/TDD methodologies. Solid understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, REST APIs. Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer). Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6). Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). ISTQB or other QA/testing certifications.
