Duties & Responsibilities Job Element Wt % Specific Duty Product Line Management & Technical Support 30% 1. Ensure the revenue target of the Communication Optics product line 2. Working together with Global Sales team to support customer, provide strong technical support to build up customer confidence and trust 3. Builds a pipeline of projects and can constantly feed the pipeline 4. Identifies and evaluates the projects, and prioritizes the potential targets and internal resources 5. Significantly influences the products roadmaps and its pricing 6. Analyze the cost structure, continuously improve and drive the cost reduction through process improvement 7. Conduct training course to share the latest knowledge on market/technology to other department Project Management & New Products Development 25% 1. Ensure the New Products revenue target of Communication Optics product line 2. Working together with R&D and Operation team to develop the proposals in line with customer requirements 3. Drive proof of concepts, pilots and technology evaluations to accelerate the onboarding of new technologies and solutions 4. Collaborate across products to drive ongoing improvement and platform uptake, working closely with partners to influence product strategy and contribute to the product development roadmap 5. Key Project management, include key metrics initiate, key milestone plan and control, project performance analysis and report (P&L analysis, market share position, competition analysis). Product Marketing 20% 1. Develop and execute market research to determine market size, SOWTs, key competitors and their strategies,market share and product opportunities 2. Identify new and emerging markets, develop the products roadmap and strategic plan to position company as the market leader 3. Market and competitive assessments are current and accurate including product trends, market size, and potential customers. Leadership & Financial Management 20% 1. Demonstrate exemplary leadership through commitment, energy and personal productivity; set high standards and expectations for members of the team; promote individual and team enthusiasm, motivation, commitment and productivity via open discussion, honest communication, factual representation and even-handed problem resolution 2. Utilizes position in organization to favorably affect company culture and morale. Qualification & Requirements Education: MS in Physics, Optics, Electronics, or a related Engineering field. Experience: 1. Industry Expertise: 10+ years of combined experience in Engineering (5+ yrs) and Sales/Marketing/Business Development (5+ yrs) within the optical communications sector. 2. Leadership: 5+ years of experience in people management within technical or development functions. 3. Project Management: Proven track record of managing complex projects and resolving technical/business issues. 4. Customer Engagement: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with Tier-1 customers. Skills & Competencies: 1.
