A vacancy for a Solution Train Engineer (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching or Ottobrunn .
It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as Management careers. IM covers a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and positions ranging from IT infrastructure, application support to governance or strategic consultancy.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master degree in IT or
• Bachelor degree in IT with work experience
• SAFe, Agile engineering
• Process practices in large solutions or release trains
• Excel in fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Experience in 3DX developments
• Experience with performance and failure analyses
• Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOP deployment
• Familiarity with computer science fundamentals
• Aptitude to learn new technology
• Comply with data security and data protection
• Fluent German and English communication skills (written and verbal), Spanish is a plus

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Professional

• As STE you will build the integrated plannning of 3DX One Platfrom technical releases together with all Airbus group division
• Enable the continous integration of planned releases and ensure in time deployments of Demo- and Dry Run releases to check quality and ensure error fee EIS simulation.
• Pair with agile release trains (ART) and scrum teams to achieve common deliverables
• Ensure that components of the technical architecture, including interface design, are properly integrated and described and fully covered in the code freeze, structure, delivery note.
• Provide technical excellence, support, and quality throughout all stages of projects
• Partner with all technical departments in the selection of new applications, technologies and solutions
• Help progress our DevOps initiatives and methodologies in sensitive and protected environments.
• Develop, promote, and teach best practices about security and digital continuity architecture
• Perform code- and quality reviews, if necessary lead Change Boards
• Harmonised, consitent access definitions
