As a crucial member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties throughout the city. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste and vent pipes, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently, providing cost-effective solutions Respond promptly to emergency calls and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing diagrams to plan and execute installations or repairs Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members on larger projects or complex installations Provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers regarding plumbing issues and solutions Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations while working in various environments Keep work areas clean and organized, properly storing tools and materials Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies, techniques, and local code requirements Qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and safely Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment specific to plumbing work Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to plumbing Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Baghdad, Iraq Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing diagrams Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
