We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Frankland, Brasside, Durham DH1 5YD. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30; Saturday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00. There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly. What you will do: Routine and non-routine maintenance. Mains water supply repairs. Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults. Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment. What you will bring: Current and competent in site systems including Air Handling Units, Air compressors and receivers, Filters, Fans, Pumps, Generators, Motor driven actuators, 3 port valves, gates and doors Experience in a commercial environment. Strong communications skills. Experience in operating light plant. NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is essential, with experience of around 10 years. Legionella Control (L8) is desirable.
