We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Kirkham, Freckleton Road, Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire, PR4 2RN. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00; Friday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00 . There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly. What you will do: Routine and non-routine maintenance. Mains water supply repairs. Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults. Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment. What you will bring: Full driving licence Experience in a commercial environment Experience in operating light plant NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is preferred (we may consider NVQ level 2) Legionella Control (L8) is desirable We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates.
