Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Plumber/Gas Fitter Supervisor to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We’re seeking an Australian Qualified Plumber / Gas Fitter who has strong fault-finding experience in both Commercial and Industrial work environments. This is a hands-on supervisory role that ensures the continuous and efficient operation and upkeep of all hydraulic, gas, sewerage and boiler plant and equipment, welding R&M, carpentry R&M, painting, and coatings throughout Ayers Rock Resort.
We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, an Australian Open Driver’s License is required for all our trades roles.

Responsibilities
  • Apply experience and knowledge to support and direct team in the installation, testing, preventative maintenance and repair of all plant and equipment
  • Regularly liaise with the General Manager Technical Services, Technical Services Maintenance Planner, and other contractors about allocation of technician and contractor resources and prioritisation of maintenance and service programs
  • Supervise staff and relevant contractors to ensure safety and quality requirements are being met
  • Perform hands-on maintenance work on plant and equipment
    You’ll get a generous hourly rate, free accommodation at our contractor’s camp with utilities included, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for in our contractors’ kitchen 24/7. You’ll have access to the onsite gym and receive a contractor’s card to visit our Outback Hotel on your days off.
    This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, seeing you working 10-hour shifts.
