Rexx Mechanical specializes in mechanical systems for multi-unit residential buildings (condos/apartments) and commercial construction. Our projects demand precision, efficiency, and a high level of technical expertise. We’re a professional, well-organized crew with a strong reputation in the industry.
We are currently accepting applications for Plumber Journeypersons to work on our projects in Cranbrook, BC.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Plumber Journeyperson.
  • 4-5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Goal driven, task orientated.
  • Knowledge and skills of industry standard safe work practices.
  • Experienced in Safely working in and around construction sites.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a team atmosphere
  • Results-oriented
  • Desire to grow within our organization
  • Professional in both appearance and action.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.
  • Set goals and drive their completion.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving history.
  • Willing to provide references upon request
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in plumbing installations.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Productivity and quality management.
  • Report directly to site foreman/supervisor.
  • Complete assigned job in a professional, cooperative and productive manner.
  • Communicate to the Operations Manager any efficiencies or cost saving measures to maximize project success.
  • Work in a safe and timely manner and report to the Operations Manager any inability to do so.
  • Install all materials, equipment and systems in a proficient and correct manner as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Read and interpret drawings/schematics and specifications as required.
  • General plumbing installations.
  • Maintain an excellent attitude.
  • Complete projects on time and on budget.
  • Foster and grow relationships.
