Description Want to help build out a new Plumbing Department? This opportunity may be for you! We are seeking an experienced and licensed plumber to take on a pivotal leadership role in building and growing a plumbing department within our HVAC business unit. This is a hands-on, field-based role for a self-starter who is passionate about their trade and eager to help shape the future of our service offerings. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead from the front, directly influence the direction of a new offering and make a lasting impact on the company’s growth. Key Responsibilities: Perform residential and light commercial plumbing work, including installations, diagnostics, and repairs. Serve as the field lead and subject matter expert for all plumbing operations. Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures, service standards, and workflows for the new department. Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to future plumbing team members as the department grows. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and HVAC teams to ensure smooth cross-functional operations. Maintain high standards for job quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Participate in recruitment and onboarding of additional plumbing staff as needed. Ensure proper licensing, permitting, and adherence to local plumbing codes. Requirements What we are looking for: Valid and current California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on plumbing experience, including troubleshooting and new installations. Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Willingness to be in the field daily and lead by example.
