JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Plumber to join our custom home building team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and a solid understanding of plumbing systems, with the ability to support new home builds , and the occasional renovation project. This role involves installing plumbing systems with precision, while working closely with our team to deliver high-quality, custom-built homes. A strong ability to read blueprints, follow technical plans, and collaborate on unique design requirements is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous plumbing experience in residential or construction settings is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with custom home building, carpentry, and HVAC systems is an asset.
  • Ability to perform accurate measurements and basic calculations for material requirements.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting and hands-on work.
  • A valid driver’s license or an ability to commute to work and site.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations is a strong advantage.
  • Journeyman certification is not required, but it will increase the wage you are eligible to receive.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in custom residential homes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate layouts.
  • Work with a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct testing of plumbing systems to ensure safety and performance and to help with inspections.
  • Assist with specialized assembly, pipe fitting, and connections as required.
  • Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
  • Follow all safety guidelines while performing physical tasks, including lifting and working in different environments.
  • Communicate clearly with team members to provide updates and ensure a smooth building experience.
