This is a full-time job on a permanent contract.
Plumber
Duties:
- Good general knowledge of different fixtures and fittings and an eye for detail to maintain our high standard of work.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and electricians to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Respond to plumbing emergencies or service calls with confidence in solving an issue
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving purposes
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of plumbing systems
- Ability to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures accurately
- Able to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and working in confined spaces
