OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be adept at performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have prior experience in plumbing or a related field, demonstrating proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques. A solid understanding of mechanical systems is essential, along with the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely. Experience in carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for this position. Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
  • Conduct welding operations as needed for pipe fittings and other plumbing components.
  • Perform assembly of plumbing systems and ensure all connections are secure.
  • Carry out carpentry work related to plumbing installations when necessary.
  • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs.
  • Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems efficiently.
  • Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
  • Drive commercial vehicles as needed to transport tools and materials to job sites.
