REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a plumber or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage systems, and plumbing codes.
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely.
• Skilled in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or plumbing certification is preferred.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient operation in accordance with safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, and sanitation).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems.
• Fit and repair piping systems, fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers), and appliances.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Maintain inventory of plumbing tools, parts, and equipment.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors when needed.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly work reports.
