Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing maintenance around the Club which includes repairing leaks, replacing toilets, sinks, baths, pipework, taps, showers and unblocking drain.
Hotel maintenance is also ideal as you will be expected to deal with any defects from re tuning a TV, repairing doors, replacing lights, replacing carpet tiles, working in plant rooms to moving beds and furniture.
The Union Jack Club is a Charity offering accommodation and facilities to serving and former members of the Armed Forces. The Club has been standing at Waterloo for over 100 years. Its founder was Ethel McCaul, a Royal Red Cross nurse and her vision remains our primary purpose today: to provide serving and former non-commissioned members of the Armed Forces and their families with a comfortable and friendly base for their visits to London with over 100,000 members and guests staying each year.
Responsibilities:
To ensure a high standard of maintenance throughout the Club paying particular attention in all Front of House areas.
To create and promote excellent relations with your colleagues and Club members.
To put forward recommendations to improve the product of service of the Club.
As a term of your employment, you may be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by Management
Requirements:
MUST BE A FULLY / PART QUALIFIED PLUMBER
Good communications skills
Ability to use own initiative and work in a team environment
