About Us:
Frontline Energy and Environmental is a leading mechanical and electrical services company, we are expanding our Heating & Plumbing division to meet the growing demand for our services. We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced plumber to join our team, with responsibilities spanning both heating systems work and general plumbing services.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a fully qualified plumber with at least 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience to join our Heating & Plumbing division. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in heating systems and a vide variety of plumbing works. From maintenance works, fault finding, repairs, installations in domestic and commercial settings. The role will include servicing, installation, and repair of boilers and heating systems, as well as a wide range of plumbing tasks. Candidates must be RGI certified, and experience with heat pumps and renewable technologies is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Boiler & Heating Work:
Service, maintain, and repair gas boilers, including fault-finding and breakdown repairs.
Install and commission new boilers in residential and commercial properties.
Install, service, and maintain central heating systems, including radiators, underfloor heating, and associated controls.
Conduct heating system upgrades.
Perform installation and servicing of heat pumps and renewable energy heating systems (desirable).
Plumbing Work:
Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
Repair and replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, taps, toilets, and showers.
Carry out hot water cylinder installations and repairs, as well as general pipework fixes.
Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages, and other plumbing-related issues.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations while working on site.
Provide exceptional customer service by advising clients and offering practical solutions to their plumbing and heating needs.
Complete relevant documentation, including service reports and certificates, in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Fully qualified plumber with a minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience.
RGI certified (essential).
Strong experience in both boiler work (service, repair, installation) and general plumbing.
Hands-on experience with heating systems and renewable technologies such as heat pumps (desirable).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
Full, clean driving license.
Desirable:
Certifications or additional training in renewable energy systems, particularly heat pumps.
Experience with modern smart control systems for heating and plumbing.
